As you know, competitive auto rates became available in
New coverage options, along with discounts will vary among companies.
The following are some of the new discounts available with some companies:
- Good Student – At least a 3.0 average or the equivalent
- Student Away at School (100 miles or more)
- Driver with Advanced Driver Training – specific programs only
- Hybrid Vehicle
- Vehicle Equipped with Anti-Theft Device
- Low Mileage Discount – must be verified through annual safety inspection data on file with the Registry of Motor Vehicle
- Public Transport Discount – evidence of monthly use is required in the form of receipts for 11 of 12 months during the policy period
- Account Credits for having both auto and home with the same carrier
The following are some of the new coverage options available with some companies:

· Disappearing Deductible
· Loan/Lease Gap
· Accident Forgiveness
Documentation is not required when quoting Good Student, Student Away at School, and Advanced Driver Training discounts but would be required to issue a policy including these credits.
