Felton & Berlin Insurance Services, Inc. represents its clients with property and casualty insurance and advice. We also assist in the design, implementation, and service of employee benefit programs. Where appropriate, we work with our clients and their advisors to implement life, disability and health insurance products that meet their business and estate planning requirements.
Felton & Berlin has two account principals (Conway Felton and Richard Berlin) and a staff of professionals who work directly with our clients on their insurance and benefit needs and servicing requirements. The main office is in Peabody, Massachusetts located at the intersection of Route 1 and Route 128. A satellite office is located in Dover, Massachusetts.
The account principal acts as the clients direct contact to the firm and is closely involved in all planning and servicing objectives. It is our objective to define and then design the plan of insurance and benefits that will meet the clients needs. We will shop the marketplace for the most competitive products that meet all contractual requirements. Our commitment is to offer the best service available.
Principals:
C. Conway Felton, III has twenty-six years experience in the insurance industry and is a Certified Insurance Counselor. In addition, he holds a License as an Insurance Advisor. Prior to co-founding Felton & Berlin Insurance Services, Inc. with Richard Berlin, Conway was a Vice President with Alexander & Alexander in Boston, MA. Conway's expertise is in the area of Commercial Property and Liability Products.
Richard E. Berlin, Jr. and C. Conway Felton, III founded Felton & Berlin Insurance Services Inc. in 1984. Prior to Felton & Berlin, Richard worked for four years as a life insurance specialist, packaging Universal Life insurance products for applications in the realm of charitable endowment giving. While continuing to service Felton & Berlin's clients diverse needs, he has expanded his practice to include the design, sale and servicing of personal and commercial property and casualty products. Richard's clientele is national in scope with a heavy emphasis on personal insurance in New York and Connecticut.
Richard has served for six years as a trustee of the Brookwood School in Manchester, Massachusetts and currently sits on the boards of the Quebec Labrador Foundation in Ipswich, Massachusetts and the Groton School in Groton, Massachusetts. Richard also served for eight years as the New England Regional Enrollment Director for Dartmouth College.
Robert H. Erdmann has spent almost his entire career in the insurance business and received his Associate in Risk Management designation in 1999. Prior to joining Felton & Berlin, he spent 13 years with Marsh USA, Inc., the last 6 as a Senior Vice President and Office Head of the Boston Private Client Services Marsh Office. He is an active member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and a member of the Professional Advisors Committee for the Boston Foundation.
Business Associate:
Ford Spalding has been in the insurance and benefits business for thirty years and is a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He has his advisors license in life and employee benefits and has been servicing property and casualty accounts for businesses and individuals for twenty four years.
Ford is active in the community of Dover, Massachusetts as a former member and Chairman of the Warrant Committee (Finance), Board of Selectman, Dover Housing Partnership Committee, and Dover Sherborn Regional School Committee. Currently, he is Chair of the $37m Dover Sherborn Regional School Building Committee. He is a member of the Dover Board of Fire Engineers. He is a former Director of the Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education (MBAE). He is a former Board member and Chairman of the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE).
Account Executive:
Kevin Daly is a veteran of the insurance industry who began his career over twelve years ago. He worked for several years with a subsidiary of Chubb Insurance, consulting clients with their personal insurance needs.
He works closely with high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as strategic business partners, to design personal risk management solutions to protect their assets.
Kevin has been published in Antique Homes magazine and has been featured numerous times in Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine. In 2001, he earned the prestigious designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
